Tom's Trust Supports

Spiral is a Community Interest Company based in Brixton. They work with young people in Hackney, Brixton and Croydon who are at risk of exclusion or who have already been excluded from School to re-engage them with their education, prepare them for the world of work and connect them to their first steps into the right career for them. This project enables Spiral to support students from their most vulnerable until they have got themselves back on track.

Spiral works with students through an inclusion programme to develop essential skills. self awareness, and to identify their aspirations. Their student support team provides each student with a tailored support package including mentoring, tutoring and referrals to a wide network of youth services so that they can develop and explore the possibilities.

Tom's Trust has given a grant to Spiral to support their work at the Evelyn Grace Academy, where Spiral are helping 15 'at risk of exclusion' Year 11 students.
